Emotive Wedding Photography for Adventurous Humans

      [UK AND AWAY]

I believe that weddings are about people, and to get real specific they’re about your favourite people. That may just be you and your no.1 human eloping to a mountain cabin! Getting married with epic views and toasting marshmallows over a campfire as dusk sets in. It might be about watching, in hysterics from the sidelines as your favourite oldies get their groove on and dance the funky chicken, regardless of what song is playing. Maybe it’s all your best friends together, on a super cool rooftop bar in the centre of London with gin cocktails and an abundance of laissez faire attitude. Or a huge family gathering in a field beneath the canvas of a tipi with festoon lighting twinkling above as you dance the night away. Or perhaps they are about dad, taking his little girls hand for your most important walk together.

Whatever your vision, it will be about your people. The day will be filled with wide open mouth laughing until your stomach hurts because your heart is so full of love and happiness. You’ll be surrounded by your favourite nearest and weirdests and there will be 1001 things going on in every moment. This day is about you, marrying your best friend and starting your next big adventure together. That’s what you want to be concentrating on. Leave the documentary bit to me. I’ve got this!

“I could not recommend Lauren more if I tried! She was was amazing! Put everyone at ease, was so professional but so friendly! I felt totally relaxed with her. She took a lot of stress out of the day, we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer and the photos are awesome!  Lauren is a lovely, lovely person and is extremely talented! Thank you so so much for being a part of our day, we were extremely lucky to have you there!”

“On our first meeting we hit it off instantly and felt like we’d been friends for years. She puts you completely at ease and for someone who doesn’t like being in front of a camera this helps massively. x

      – Rebecca and Rob, Elvetham Hotel Wedding

I know just how fortunate I am. To be creating fine art wedding photography in Hampshire is a real special thing! It’s such a beautiful part of the world, surrounded by many other gorgeous counties.

I cover; The New Forest, Southampton, Winchester, Portsmouth, Alton, Basingstoke, Gosport, Waterlooville, Farnborough, Fareham, Portchester, Eastleigh, Andover, Havant, Fleet, Hook, Petersfield and Hartley Wintney.

Hampshire is one of the most appealing counties in the UK. It hosts some of the beautiful wedding venues; The Four Seasons in Dogmersfield and The Elvetham, between Hartley Wintney and Fleet. Clock Barn is one of my personal favourites near Whitchurch.

I’m Welsh made but now Hampshire based! I study Archaeology (yup, this makes NO SENSE but was great fun!) at Uni in Bournemouth but moved to Hampshire about ten years ago and never left! It’s really become my home. I run consultations in person with my couples either at my home office, in a cosy corner of a lovely pub or in the comfort of their own homes.

I wouldn’t know how to sell you something if my life depended on it. I’ll just turn up and be me, you just turn up and be you and we’ll see what happens.

During your consultation we’ll meet me, in person, because there’s no better way to see if we’re a good match. It does quite often feel like a blind date!! ha ha! I also have the opportunity to know more about you as a couple and about your plans for the wedding day. And you’re certainly welcome to pick my brain for hints and tips. It’s a black hole of interesting tid-bits and priceless knowledge form years of capturing weddings.

Some of my couples are busy so they find it difficult to meet. On these rare occasions we Skype or FaceTime to have a relaxed chat about your wedding photography. And I say rare because I encourage my couples to find some time for coming to meet with me. I actually suggest you meet with a couple of your favourite photographers, in person. This is because you just don’t know who you’re going to find a great rapport with, until you’re in the same room. And it’s vital that you have a great relationship with your wedding photographer as you’ll spend most of the big day with them so trust is vital.

Having been in the industry for many years, I’ve worked with some absolutely fantastic human being and fabulously creative suppliers. There are a select few that I trust and adore. Therefore, if you’re looking for; an amazing florist, a creative dressmaker, a beautiful bridal boutique, the perfect wedding venue, invitations and ‘Save the Date’ cards to wow your guests etc. then give me a holler!

I can put you in touch with amazing wedding suppliers. I love these guys because we have so much in common; we’ve got a style that stand out from the rest, we offer a super personal customer service experience and we will always go the extra mile for you.
