      ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY AT CALSHOT BEACH

Chelsea and Adam take a walk along a sun soaked Calshot Beach

A little sneak peek at my latest engagement photography at Calshot beach and the lovely pair I got to photograph…

      HOW THEY MET

Chelsea and Adam met in ‘the real life’ when they literally bumped into each other in the corridor at work where he was a lifeguard and she was a party supervisor with a broken CD player! And as a party ain’t much of a party without music, he offered to help her get it fixed! They chatted all through the party, distracting each other from their jobs in the most lovely way and the rest is history…as they say!

My other half reminds me that I say this about all of my couples but…..I love these guys!! I guess I’m just lucky to have had genuinely awesome couples to work with!

Chelsea and Adam are cheeky and funny and so down to earth. We share a sense of humour and these guys love each other so much that they can literally taking the piss out of each other incessantly and to see it, as an outsider, it’s so filled with love it’s crazy!!

“People keep saying to us that we will be together forever… you know what I think we believe them!”

FUN, NATURAL AND NOT JUST A LITTLE BIT SILLY

My engagement sessions are all about capturing the relationship between my couples in a natural way. It’s the easiest thing in the world to say ‘just be yourselves’ but as soon as you put a camera in someones face? No so easy to do! I, myself become instantly aware of every, tiny muscle in my face as soon as you put a camera in it! But I’m chatty and silly and give just enough direction that they don’t feel awkward. So after the shoot, Adam declared “I hate having my picture taken but that was really fun!”

      Me: Winning!!!!!

It’s literally the best feedback I can have to know that my couples enjoy being photographed by me! I now really cannot wait to shoot these guys on their gorgeous weeding which will be at the beautiful Romsey Abbey, followed by a bloody good knees up at the Bell Inn, New Forest!
