The minute I spoke to Lara and Brian over Skype, I knew they were just my kinda odd bods! And at the mention of smoke bombs I was utterly sold! They instantly talked about how they met whilst living in Vietnam, the adventures they amassed as good friends, a year of “seemingly” unrequited love and the many, many travels together that followed. Eventually they confessed and found that each felt the same. What a relief because I have never met two souls more perfectly suited!
Lara is Vivacious and full of energy. And Brian is her perfect fit with his calm and uber laid back approach. They make the most incredible team and with a veritable hoard of friend and family helpers on the morning of the wedding they are clearly much loved. Each member of the party gushed at the very mention of their names. The love this day was tangible and warm.
They set up the entire day themselves, with friends creating beautifully delicate floral arrangements, playing the music through the ceremony and even Lara’s lovely Step Dad Brendan was the celebrant! Brendan read the most heart felt and insightful reading and I couldn’t help but include as much as possible in the film itself as I found it so poignant and so well read! Not least because it meant so much to the bride…and to Brendan. One proud daddy!

What a special human – I couldn’t recommend Lauren more. She was a pleasure to have as our videographer from start to finish. Lauren put us so at ease and played a bit part in lowering our wedding stress and had such great attention to detail and generous advice and support. She really took the time to get to know us and what we wanted from our day and video.
On the day itself, Lauren helped to calm my nerves and was a reassuring presence amidst chaos. We are over the moon with the finished video, which absolutely captures the essence of the day perfectly and has brought tears to the eyes of those who have watched it. She really managed to show the beauty of our outdoor venue, as well as the vibe of the day with tonnes of gorgeous shots of happy laughing guests alongside emotional heartfelt moments. Lauren has the perfect balance of reassuring professionalism and chilled out friendliness, as well as being a very talented artist and true romantic.
