“We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.”

      Breaking the Ice

Congratulations! You’re getting married! Welcome to the crazy whirlwind that is ‘Wedding Planning’!!

I know it must feel like a pretty overwhelming task right now; finding your perfect wedding suppliers on the internet but I’m here to help. I offer wedding planning advice throughout the entire process and am always on hand with friendly advice and to keep worries at bay. I can recommend other trusted wedding vendors for you to check out and my biggest advice is book the one you love in person. That connection is vital so much for piece of mind and having a super enjoyable experience.

      Let's Hang Out!

My personal belief is that the most important part of finding your wedding photographer is the connection we feel. I want to know from the outset that we’re a great match so that I can do the absolute best job possible for you guys! So the most important task at this point is for us to get in the same room or at least chat over video so you can get a feel for who I am. I know lots of lovely pubs with cosy corners and snazzy coffee bars so let’s get together over a beverage of some description 😉

You can pick my photographer brain. I’ve over 7 years experience and have seen more than 170 weddings so there’s loads of good stuff in there at your disposal.

      The Engagement Session!

Once you’ve decided to go ahead we’ll do the boring paperworky bit (booking form, contract, deposit etc.) and we’ll get a date in the diary for the fun stuff; The Engagement Session!

Now, I know you don’t believe me when I say ‘fun stuff’ in this context but truthfully, most of my clients start with “We hate having our pictures taken” and end with “That was actually quite fun!”. And I can’t tell you how many supposedly awkward couples absolutely rocked it in front of my lens!

This bit is about practice and getting to know each other and it’s free because I value it so highly in helping build our relationship! After this, I’ll rock up on the wedding day feeling more like a friend than an employee!

      Best Laid Plans...

I will be there every step of the way with you so if there’s something niggling at you and keeping you up at night or you just need recommendations for some great wedding suppliers then please just see me as a friend! I’m more than happy to help with anything you need along the way!

This ain’t my first Rodeo and I know a thing or two about what helps things run smoothly on the day so I’ll help you put together timelines for the day and have plenty of experience in getting the most out of it!

      The Big Day!

You’ve been excited and nervous and planning and stressing and losing sleep and excited all over again in the run up to this day, right!? It’s been an emotional rollercoaster and it’s not over yet! The best is yet to come!

And you can rest assured that, on the day, one thing you don’t have to worry about is how the day will be documented! I’ll be there, early! I’ll be your photographer, your friend, your messenger, your dress guardian, your mum’s bestie or just the unobtrusive ‘says’ nothing chick in the corner, taking photos! I’ll have scissors and curby grips and sometimes even cocktail sticks for the unexpected crazy McGiver-like bouquet rescuing mad skills I sometimes have to utilise!! Basically. I’ll be there for whatever you need, don’t be afraid to ask!

      The After Party!

So after the wedding, I’ll get your images backed up in three different places, I’ll edit them to perfection and you’ll get a sample gallery of around 100 images in the first week or two. Within 6 weeks of the wedding date you’ll receive the USB of all your gorgeous images!

But the fun doesn’t have to stop there! I can put together an example album layout for you at no cost and I’m a terrible sales person so it will be entirely down to you guys if you choose to go ahead and invest in one. It does give you something to look forward to after the wedding but equally you have the licence to your images and I have zero problem with you putting together your own albums. I’ll even give you advice on where to get them printed!

Also, please do stay in touch! I’m good friends with a number of my brides still so don’t be a stranger!
